Diving into the next chapter – A Hollywood Glam Engagement Photoshoot
Happy new week darlings,
Today I’m sharing a little bit about a project dear to my heart. As I mentioned in my 1 Year Anniversary post, blogging has given me the opportunity to do more things I’m deeply passionate about, such as being a Creative Director and Stylist which are some of the services I now provide. When my friend Ugochi got engaged, I was super excited and wanted to be there to help her transition into a new chapter in her life. When she asked me to style her and coordinate her engagement photoshoot, I was beyond happy.
Ugochi and Kene’s journey is a love story that spans almost 12years and their love has remained timeless. This is why we chose a “Hollywood Glam” theme for her engagement photoshoot. We wanted a shoot that was elegant, classy and timeless. We also wanted to capture their essence as a couple and showcase their love as they start the next chapter as a married couple.
To pull off this shoot we needed a team that shared our vision and was willing to give their best to make it a reality. Her wedding planner Darryl of D’Concierge Wedding found the perfect location based on our vision, hair was done by Stella of Bellas Vision and Makeup was done by Nkem of VivaJika. Meanwhile, I styled and coordinated the shoot, from the scenes to the different hairstyles, to the makeup, clothing and accessories. Finally, Fred Ago Photography was the final piece to the puzzle, he saw the vision, added his personal touch to it and captured the epic moments to create this beautiful love story in pictures. Her other bridesmaids were also very present and helpful in making the engagement shoot fun, comfortable and successful. It was great seeing everyone work together in supporting and helping the couple get ready for their Lights, Camera and ACTION moment.
