How to Transition into Fall – Floral Prints and Colors

Good morning,

I received many questions in the past on how to transition into Fall especially when the weather changes are so subtle like here in Houston or when you don’t feel like changing your whole wardrobe for a new season. For me, one of the ways I transform my style without having to shop for new outfits is to transition with prints, patterns, colors, textures, accessories and by layering.

When it comes to prints and patterns, incorporating floral, plaid outfits and accessories can change your look and signify a new season. Also, rocking colors like orange, olive, red, burgundy or any other Fall colors helps you transition your look into this season like I did with this look. This dress can easily be worn summer time, but by adding the right colors and accessories, it becomes timeless and can work for any season. This dress can also be worn with booties or boots and a vest or a coat can be layered over it for a warmer and cozier look.
