The Gift of Style – 1 Outfit, 2 Looks for your Holiday Party

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Hello Darlings,

Hope your week has been going well. It’s less than 2 weeks before Christmas which means it’s time for all the holiday parties and last minute shopping. Today I wanted to show how I styled 1 look 2 different ways for the holiday parties. This skirt was an item in my Suitable You style box which I talked about HERE and I decided to build 2 looks around it.

For Look 1, I went a little glam with my gold embroidered bedazzling purse and my coat. I decided to drape my coat over my shoulder because there’s something extra bold, sexy and chic when you wear your jacket/coat like this. It makes me feel extra fly like I’ve got my own super hero cape too, LOL… don’t judge. I also tried to make my look more unique by wearing my corset belt which added a little edge to my look.

Meanwhile for Look 2, I kept it elegant and simple by just taking off the coat and belt, and switching my bag and shoes into a classic crossbody bag and a gold T-strap sandals and I was ready to mingle and dance the night away at my holiday party.

So, which look do you like the most? Which is more of your style? I hope this helps you next time you’re deciding what to wear for your holiday parties. Fashion is art and it’s a way to express yourself, so be you, but also learn to sometimes have fun with it and try out something new. Remember you can always sign up with SuitableYou and get a style box for the beautiful women in your life or for yourself. Not only does it save you time by having a stylist curate your outfit, but it also preserves your style because you complete the survey that determines what type of personalized box you get, but you also choose what items to keep when you get your box.
