ModChic Couture Summer Style
Happy new week!
A few things dear to my heart are fashion, giving back to the community and women supporting and empowering each other. I believe that we are stronger together and when we come together, we are magic. Inspiring people, especially women to be confident, to express themselves boldly and live a more authentic life is one of my purpose in life and why I started my blog.
It’s amazing when you meet women from different backgrounds who share a similar interest and vision with you. This is how I connected with some of my Houston blogger friends and what inspired us to create our group called Blog N Connect (will share more details in another post) and why we’re collaborating with ModChic Couture for a great cause.
ModChic Couture is a local Houston boutique located in Rice Village and the name of the store completely describes the style and vibe of it. It is a very beautiful, modern and elegant space with a mix of trendy, classic and timeless fashion and accessories. This is great because apart from sharing a common vision, we share a similar style.
My outfit for today is all from ModChic Couture. It was hard figuring out what to wear because I love a lot of what they have but I picked something fun with some prints and perfect for a cocktail summer event. I wore this floral print sheer top and white Aline skirt with their rock stud handbag and nude pumps and I created the perfect Modern and Chic look.
This Saturday we will also be hosting a ModChic Couture Summer Style event to connect with old and new clients, showcase their new summer collection and to launch ModChic Cares which uses a percentage of proceeds from sales to provide uniforms for children in Nigeria. This is such a great cause because in a 3rd world country like Nigeria, people struggle with financial needs and clothing/uniforms for kids may not be the biggest priority but we know that for children to confidently go to school, socialize and learn effectively, they have to be cleanly and confidently dressed because when we dress well, we feel good.
