Allow me to reintroduce myself…

Hello. My name is Chigozie, but you can call me Chigi. Welcome to Chigi’s World!

 

 

Chigi’s World is more than a blog, a media platform, or a place where I share content. It is a little piece of my world, a space where faith, purpose, creativity, wellness, family, business, leadership, storytelling, and life intersect. It is a place where I get to share what I’m learning, what I’m creating, what I’m building, what God is teaching me, and sometimes simply what is happening in my everyday life.

And after five years away, I am excited to open the doors again. But this time, I don’t want Chigi’s World to simply be a place where I talk and you read. I want it to become a community. A place where we can share, learn, laugh, cry and grow together. Also it’s a place where we can connect, challenge one another, have deep conversations about life and and celebrate our wins together, because we were created for each other and made to be in community. 

 

 

As I shared before, I have always struggled to stay in one lane or fit into a box because I have always had different interests, passions, gifts and graces. I’ve come to realize that my name Chigozie which means God Bless/Blesses, gives even more insight into who I am. As my name says, I’m not only blessed beyond measure, I’ve realized with all humility that I am a blessing and a vessel in which God uses to bless many people.

So here are a few things about me and how I serve and bless people:

I Am an Author, Writer, Storyteller & a Creative

I love words, stories and ideas. I love creating things that didn’t exist before. 

Whether it’s a book, blog post, teaching, song, campaign, concept, brand, conversation, or simply a thought that needs somewhere to land, I love bringing ideas to life.

I believe stories matter because our stories help us make sense of where we’ve been, where we are, and where we’re going, and I have a few stories to tell.

I Am a Speaker, Teacher, Mentor & a Helper

I love people. I love sharing, serving and supporting people. And I especially love helping someone discover something inside themselves that they didn’t realize was there.

I love teaching and encouraging people. I’m passionate about empowering people to learn, grow, build, lead, and become.

Whether I’m speaking to one person or a room full of people, my heart is always the same: How can I help you become everything God created you to be?

I Am a Visionary, Strategist, Builder & a Serial Entrepreneur

I’ve always been a visionary and a builder. A well of ideas and strategy. Give me an idea and my brain immediately starts seeing solutions or starts asking: How can we structure it? How can we make it better? Who does it serve and what problem does it solve? How can we take it from an idea to something tangible?

I love helping people see, build, organize, position, grow, and expand. I’ve spent years working with people, families, businesses, organizations, churches, ministries, movements, and/or communities to help turn vision into strategy and strategy into action.

I Am a Christian, Mindset & a Transformational Life Coach

One of the things closest to my heart is helping people rediscover their identity and purpose in God, because I believe there is a tremendous difference between simply existing and actually living intentionally, and a difference between being busy and being productive, moving in a clear direction to achieve a specific goal.

I believe God created us to be fruitful, productive, successful, and impactful, to occupy, influence, and have dominion in the spheres He has entrusted to us.  I want to help people understand who they are, whose they are, why they are here, what they have been entrusted with and called to do in each season, and that doesn’t look the same for everyone. Our calling, assignment, journey and, stewardship is ours, unique to each person. So, my goal isn’t to make you become someone else, it’s to help you become who God created you to be.

I Am a Nurse Practitioner, Holistic Health & Wellness Consultant

Then there is another very important part of my world: Wholeness of Body, Soul and Spirit. I am a Nurse Practitioner and a Holistic Health & Wellness Consultant, passionate about helping individuals, families, and communities achieve health holistically, from the inside out.

I’ve learned that wellness isn’t just about symptoms, diagnosis, numbers, or appointments. People are whole people and healthcare has to be approached that way. Our physical health intersects with our faith, mindset, emotional wellbeing, relationships, environment, lifestyle, habits, work and so much more.

I care deeply about educating, equipping and empowering people to become informed participants in their own health and wellbeing and guide them toward healing, wholeness and restoration.

But above everything else, I am a woman of God. Before the titles, roles, businesses, work, ideas, books, platforms and accomplishments, there is God. My relationship with Him is the foundation from which everything else flows. I see life through a spiritual lens. My faith isn’t simply something I do on Sundays or something I add to the things I build, it is the foundation of how I see, think, make decisions, create, love, serve, lead and live.

And one of the things I believe deeply is this: Faith, humility, and obedience to the One True God (Yahweh) will take you places talent alone never can. Don’t get me wrong, talent can open doors, strategy can help you navigate it , discipline can keep you moving, but there are places only obedience to God can take you. There are things only God can orchestrate and there are seasons where the greatest act of faith is simply saying: “Yes, Lord.” And for me, returning in this season to restart and relaunch Chigi’s World is an act of obedience.

So here we are. In a new season, a new chapter and a fresh page. A familiar space with a woman who has changed quite a bit since the last time she was here, but I’m still Chigi. Still who I have shared I am, but then so much more. Still a creative, storyteller, a builder, a woman of faith, still dreaming, still learning, still growing, still becoming. But perhaps more importantly, I am still here and I’m excited about what God is doing in us, with us, and through us, which is all for our good and for His glory.
