Good morning,

Hope you had a great weekend. Fun fact about me is that I love taking pictures to capture special memories as well as random moments in time. The difficult thing about this is I end up with lots of pictures and sometimes it gets overwhelming to sort through. So I spent my weekend sorting through my pictures and I have so much to share.

My post today is from my trip to Reno, Nevada. Hubby and I spent our July 4th week with our friends in Reno and we had a blast. We did alot of fun things, from going to the Children’s Museum with their 2 boys, to getting a personal tour through the Tesla factory, attending the Food Truck Festival etc. We also went on a road trip down to Lake Tahoe but I also didn’t miss the opportunity to get a shoot with the beautiful mountains. Reno is such a beautiful place. It’s a desert so it’s dry, dusty, sunny and hot but if you look further out, the bigger mountains you’ll see the snow covered mountain tops. The scenery is exquisite and it feels so serene that you’ll be tempted to spend every moment outdoors.

My look today was inspired by this beautiful land. I love being stylish, but I also love being comfortable. Due to the setting and our plan to drive down around town to sight see before heading to Lake Tahoe, I decided to wear this Silk top from Wanni Fuga with Jeans and sneakers. I chose white jeans to create a better contrast with the colorful and bold print of the top. My look was comfy but yet fun and the sun was just radiant so I didn’t hesitate to soak it up. It was bliss and I felt so humbled at the grandness of the mountains and beauty of the earth.
