It’s All About Africa
Good morning darlings!
Sorry I’ve been a little behind schedule on my blog posts. I’ve been extra busy the past few weeks and this week is going to be the highlight. African Fashion Week Houston starts on Thursday which is less than 24hours. Yeahhh! This is very exciting for me for various reasons which I’m going to share.
- We’re showcasing our African Art, Food, Fashion, Entertainment and Culture with Houstonians. We have several events coming up each day, from Thursday October 20th – Sunday 23rd, so there’s something for everyone.
- I’ve been meeting and working with amazing people, from partners, to volunteers and clients. I’m very big on the merging of minds, collaboration and team work, which has been the foundation of this project. It has been so much fun, as well as empowering to be amongst people who are passionate about a cause and dream like I do, while each bringing something unique to the table.
- We have the ability to create a platform for people to showcase their talents, products and service is very fulfilling. This is an opportunity for everyone to support local businesses, small business owners and upcoming entrepreneurs like myself to attain success. You will definitely spot my clothing line 3reeC’s – Chic Creations and Collections in the Tradeshow showing my AW16 Collection like the Jacket I wore on the streets of New York. Also my SS17 Collection will make its debut on the runway at the Sunday Fashion Show finale. I’m super excited and very humbled, I never take my blessings for granted.
